The Selby visits Abigail Ahern

If there was an award for creative expression, it would go to interior designer Abigail Ahern for her fearlessly eclectic, witty and yet rather glamorous philosophy to design.

Photographer Todd Selby recently captured Abigail in her fascinating home…

As Abigail says “the best interiors are those that don’t take themselves too seriously”. ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. I love Abigail’s design! Her rooms are all very memorable, to say the least! The gorgeous striking colors she uses, the way she plays with contrast are what makes all her rooms pop!

How cool is that sculptural chandelier in the bathroom? What a major design statement!

  2. Oh wow, that bathroom is to die for!

  3. Her place is crazy cool. I hadn’t seen these photos, so thanks for posting! Also, I’m hosting a giveaway this week that I think you’ll love. Come say hi!

  4. wow. my favorites are:

    *her boots
*the mushroom-y lamp on round table
*that ‘reinventing the teal’ painting against the black wall

so unique and fun! we are still renovating our downstairs, and you can be sure it will not resemble abigail’s cool cool space in the slightest!

thanks for sharing these inspiring photos, meerkat (i don’t know what’s gotten into me either; just go with it).

    I look at Abigai’s rooms and I feel so boring….. I am boring…

Hey, I almost went with that wallpaper but I picked something more organized…. (Boring again!)

    At least I am happy!
