Happy Valentine’s Day!

Every day is a love day for Colin and I (too corny? That’s what being in love does to you!) so we don’t worry ourselves with the commercialism of this day. Like many other days in the year, we’ll dine in romantic candlelight (Colin’s food tastes better than 5-star restaurants, so I am looking forward to what he cooks up!) and enjoy delicious freshly-baked chocolatey dessert (as if I even need a reason to bake!).

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Mmmmmmmmmmm! This is a “White Chocolate and Cardamom Rosewater sponge, complete with crystallised petals and white chocolate swirls”. Fanciest sounding cake I’ve ever heard of. I’m going to try making this today, for dessert later . Recipe from Achica Living, if you’re interested. You can just use circular cake tins if you’re not too bothered about having everything in a heart shape today (yes, I understand, it can get a bit much).
